listen to a bunch of stuff... oh right I got a few records I picked up the other day that haven't had a crack at yet... so that.

as for today... send off beers after work for a departing co-worker... just gotta make it that far then it's ollie ollie oxen free!!!

I need to find gifts for my two daddies...

me and the kids will probably march over to the pool, throw something on the grill and chill there for the rest of the day. Later this evening, my soda crashed friend is coming over for wine and conversation...if I don’t cancel.

the rest of the weekend...to be determined
I’m still buggin’ out lol

In response to Reply # 5

I'm not trying to remind anyone except my own pops.

I'm not still buggin myself...

well I wasn't but the father's day thing could be better.. I'm ambivalent about it.. I like the space and time right like if you were to ask me what I wanted for father's day being left alone would be on that list near the top... but I always miss my kids when they don't come over.. but I'm out of town for my twins 16th birthdays coming up so all's fair in the modern age nuclear fission family.

tomorrow: work 8am to 1pm, straight to the barber shop for 130 appointment, lunch with family...we do a monthly lunch/dinner for all the adult birthdays...celebrating June tomorrow. Back home to chill...got a huge poster of Dwade throwing an oop to LeBron to put up in the Man Cave. Joint came from China. Gotta trim it, paint the background board and frame it.

Sunday morning...going out to ride 40-50 miles, back home to chill, wife and boys taking me out to dinner.

That be it.

...on the *other* motorcycle (dirt bike, got it completely apart in the basement now). I ride every day, but I rarely ever leave the city, even to the suburbs. Might hit the shore early Sunday.

Gonna make sure I relax. The last few weeks (end of school for the kids) wore me out big time. I put some mosquito dunks and water traps out last week, so we'll see if I have swarms in the yard again like last year. If these don't work I'm building a pond and raising dragonflies and damselflies.

I still have about 100 bulbs that need to go in the ground Some are for my son's mom's new house, but still... a lot of digging.

I have a few walls that need painting and a fence that needs staining. We'll see about those.

I regularly see Ontario riders (I now you're not in Ontario tho) complaining about both the cost of insurance and the cops. Moto riders there seem like they pay more in insurance per year than how much they paid for the bike.

Bikes are really fun to work on if you like machines. You don't need a lift or any other large power equipment, and parts are generally cheap and easily accessible.

every summer is getting dryer and dryer.. not sure what the insurance would be.. hopefully not prohibitive I haven't gotten that far down the path with the idea yet.

and that's what I hear/am thinking I used to like working on my old dodge and the fact that I could do a fair amount of it myself.. and have always heard that bikes are fairly straight forward and easy to work on.. seems like the biggest issues are the licensing, initial costs and how long your climate will accommodate keeping them on the road each year.

Too bad the thunderstorms are screwing up the outdoor plans. Sitting inside with my fam is cool but damn I would have like some sun. So, I’m gonna keep praying that the weather breaks and that we’ll get some sun.

About to hit the patio to smoke another cigar with some Don Julio 70 Reposado. Gonna finally blow this Drew Estates Java Mint. That’s all for now until we go eat again. At least, we can see the Caribbean’s waves crashing since we are right at the beach.

--- praying for peace, love, and power

your initial range is pretty limited but once you build a sub you can start exploring further

the game does have pacing issues, meaning the technology discovery is kind of wonky. you won't necessarily find the blueprints that enable greater base expansion, exploration, and quality of life improvements at a steady rate, and rarely when you "need" them. it's a hell of a game though and visually striking. it's my go-to relaxation game

I am a piece of shit and am leaving for Europe tomorrow and still have a ton of shit to do. I gotta wash clothes, pick up my prescriptions, pack, go to Whole Foods, and somehow try to find a place where I can make a copy of my passport @ 8:00 at night.
