I do worry about that, because I think when a woman makes an accusation, the man instantly gets the death penalty. There has to be some sort of due process here. All of these inappropriate behaviors are not all the same.

Sometimes it just doesn’t seem as if they’ve really taken a hit. It depends on who you’re talking about. We’re talking in generalities here, because many of the cases are different, but what I do know is you can’t come back if you don’t get the lesson and you haven’t acknowledged that you behaved badly.

There have been some instances where men have been struck hard after accusations have been made some some instances where men are still able to work and collect paychecks, so IMO, it's a bit tough to make sweeping generalizations about this #metoo situation.

No one wants their company associated with this scandal, because ultimately these companies only care about keeping up appearances and keeping the money flowing. I think there's some pressure on some of these guys to stand down. I don't have any proof, I'm just making a guess because I know people who know people that got caught up.

There was a dude who was accused of breaking a woman's arm, knocking a second woman out over a traffic dispute. He spent 11 days in jail. Turns out these 2 women had a history of fabricating traffic incidents and jumping on hoods to fake injuries in parking lots.

the #metoo movement has not yet gone far enough...especially when far more concern is shown for the men that have been affeccted by the exposure than for the women they victimized..named and unnamed. for every woman that comes forward, there are 2, 3, 4 or more that didn't and simply quit their job, ended their career from being discouraged, lost the confidence to continue, were blackballed...etc etc
Weinstein singlehandedly ended Mira Sorvino's career by spreading a rumor that she was difficult to work with. No one would hire her. he cost her money. and that's just one case we know about
Matt Lauer, the Ren and Stimpy dude, Louis C.K....so many women that they demeaned and harrassed and molested simply gave up.

So no. too many women have been sacrificed at the altar of patriarchy. for patriarchy to end, men have to lose a little bit of footing...that's not about revenge; its about making space for fairness and equality. to make space, you gotta move. period.
