Not sure how that would work on a large scale but a Black Bank or Credit Union is always a good idea.

I haven’t bought a house yet, but one of the considerations is HOAs and my FIL is a realtor. So we have started that talk. Not just with arbitrary rules that could be imposed against black people or keep us zoned out, but protections afforded by neighborhood watches and what challenges could arise.
Additionally with housing you want to take into account schooling. Just today Charlotte voted to allow four MAJOR schools to essentially resegregaye, a great vehicle of white supremacy.
And as far as jobs. Yes. Again. I now work for the government which historically has been one of the best chances for black wealth due to white supremacy baked into the private secotr.

And there are plenty of low fee mutual funds. As long as they are passively managed, the fees will be in the 0.05% to 0.40% range

If you are looking to invest in the cause because you think it's noble, then it might be something that you'd be in to.
But from what I can tell, you would pay 5.5% of your off top. That is CRAZY!!! On top of that, you pay 50% of your earnings in fees (it's a bit more convoluted but that's pretty much it) You've got to get at least a 5.5% return to just breakeven. And that's definitely not a given.
For reference, the standard hedge fund fees are 2% and 20%, and those are considered high fees. A Vanguard mutual fund charges like 0.10%.
It's a terrible investment opportunity. But if you trust that their mission is noble and valid, and want to contribute to the mission have at it.

I've only skimmed the video so far but this has the bones of a common way that real estate investors raise funds to invest.
The issue here is whether A) the people you're giving your money to have a proven track record of making successful real estate investments and B) do they have a proven track record of being good stewards of other people's money.
My reservations about this would be that the people in charge strike me more as salesmen than seasoned real estate and financial professionals that will know how to successfully deploy millions of dollars. They've got a potent sales pitch; I just hope they're ready for all the responsibility that comes with other people's money.
