It's a little later, but for how good of a show it was, Seinfeld's Mouth Jazz Riffs or Whatever theme was underwhelming.

For the record, this came out a year or so before I was born and I don't recall seeing old episodes during childhood but gotdamn!

Apparently, it was CBS's answer to the Cosby Show. And the network canceled the show after 18 episodes, or something.
