>just hope that when it comes time to go I'm not in the all I >really want is my PJs and my couch mode.
EVERY TIME I'm thinking about hitting up a club w/ the lady for some house music one of us isn't really feeling like going back out. Always end up going to sleep early, lol.

we swear we want to go out and do stuff but then we chill hard as hell
then one of us gets upset and tries to rally the troops at 1AM.
It's so hard to go out before 9PM because we are happy to have an empty house.
We have to do better though because this no dates just work and kids is frustrating
**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

because you feel like you should be doing stuff and you're lame for not doing it.. but in reality you're just denying what you really want (or think you really want) which is time to chill.. cause let's get serious the grind is freaking exhausting and you just don't get anywhere near what you used to out of playing hard on your time off... why do we kid ourselves... it's the balance though that's hard to find because like you say you have to step out once in a while or else it is a kind of grim reality of uneventfulness which makes you wonder wtf you're really doing and why you aren't who you imagined you would be.
I've got the best company in the world though mind you. I love that woman something indescribably huge.
