I've heard of people using rubs, pills, and cbd. CBD works particularly well for recovery and fights insomnia.
Main thing is don't let your body get accustomed to whatever you're using and pay attention to drug testing rules of the places you work. These items are legal in certain states but are still grounds for dismissal...
