so short story is this dude had his Pitbull on the subway seat and the woman told him to move the dog. She pushes the dog off the seat and the owner puts him back on the seat. She pushes it off again and then they started swinging on each other and the dog went dog.

He told me that he transparently volunteered that info when asked. Even said that he passed the DUI test and that the jake had to bring him in on technicality. Regardless, it wasn't smart at all either way you slice it.

Bottom line is animals running into traffic isn't the fault of drivers. No one charges a driver with vehicular homicide if they hit a deer. Never admit anything illegal to a law enforcement officer. Now that I've thought about it, a sobriety test and evaluation might be standard procedure for cops when they are called to accident scenes.
