He is just missing something as an artist. It's painful when he tries to harmonize and rap. But that seems to be the order of the day for hip hop. This dude is just the right rapper in the wrong decade.
Dude should just write haikus and publish them shits or something. Better use of the talent he does possess

he doesn't necessarily come with a standard 'mythology'.
but he adds balance to the mainstream. he's regular as fuck, he's "in" this generation, but not "of" it.
I don't buy his $hit, but it's cool when I hear it (No Role Models), and I'm glad he exists as an antithesis (to me) to the Uzi Verts, Trippy Reds, Pumps, TentacionXXX's and all the other wack shxt.
He has a certain amount of influence. I think he tries to be 'socially responsible' compared to the above-mentioned peers. People will draw their own conclusions.
I really need videos to go with his $hit. I need to see what he's talking about. Those 2 songs will get play with me off the video. If I hadn't seen them I'd probly turn the station/skip.

he was at Rock The Bells a while ago. He put on a good performance, I just wasn't INTO it.
Nxgga in here talkin about he's trash and boring, etc. But I don't think it's that. He just doesn't present himself as a lightning rod for attention. He's trying to create an 'everday guy' persona in an industry fulla smoke an mirrors.

for the ATM video yet... or maybe they are and I haven't seen it. Most folks his age have probably never seen the movie tho. Hell I just saw it a year ago myself. But yeah, the video looks like his view of current pop rap filtered through Storm of the Century meets Gimme Some Mo' by Busta Rhymes and Blue Cheese by the UMC's, but I love it.

its a good look for Kevin IMO.
I thought the video was great. I can't even imagine would it would be like for people you don't know to point, stare and call you a dog. Even if its not the case I know it feels that way after you end up on TMZ for cheating
