I still love this place but as I look and see now 3(counting this one) of my own posts on page 1 I really do miss the old pace...

things used to move so fast on here you would miss out if you weren't hitting refresh every 2 mins... whole days could fly by and you still wouldn't be finished catching up.... now if you show up one day a week might not be anything that new next week.

I'm an old man... I like the old ways... I refuse to move on and get over it... stay off my lawn.

Sticking with my theory that non-message board social media is a bigger, better high school cafeteria than the old tech that is OKP.

You get a popularity score and instant feedback of how dope you are on social media.

Here, you don't get shit but a screen name, lol. Ironically, this is why I like message boards vs. social media apps. More focus on the posts and not the poster.

Back again for the first time.

Before facebook GD was definitely fast paced place with tons of talk and arguments but now this place has slowed down but that's not a bad thing cause a person like me who basically stays in The Lesson really see how bad it's got isn't mad about how much better the pace is here.

I remember when a post would get made by 9am and by 5pm it's got over 300 replies and the discussion is basically over with, everything that needed to be said was over with done, and for person like me who could never be on social media during work was kinda pissed by time I got home to check the boards.
