They'd be good for rolling out on the front lines to kill mass amounts of people, but with the tech we have now they'd either be big, slow, heavy and armored, or lightweight, fast and vulnerable.
Anyway, drone bombs (or drones w/ little guns) are gonna become a thing before we have to worry about robotic animals.
