he does all this shit to get people to pay attention to him. it's the lil yachty/pump plan. any press is good press. his haters posting about him on a twitter/insta/facebook/washedmessageboard.com still gets people talking about him. he's a goofy poseur who will eventually get called out for real and drop his act. until then just bang "93" and ignore his antics

See how that logic works?

Discussion of him here has next to no impact on his bottom line. No amount of anemic, inept, untrue "all press is good press" logic will change that.

>he does all this shit to get people to pay attention to him.
>it's the lil yachty/pump plan. any press is good press. his
>haters posting about him on a
>twitter/insta/facebook/washedmessageboard.com still gets
>people talking about him. he's a goofy poseur who will
>eventually get called out for real and drop his act. until
>then just bang "93" and ignore his antics

Based on your post, you talking about people talking about him is just another example of more people talking about him.

People make waves, they make news, people discuss. Simple. Nobody "cares". Talking about people like him is just another amkng any number empty calorie discussions taking place. So what's the big deal?

But I found the Bfast Club interview terrifying. Its as if he doesn't really believe the violence is real. He definitely comes off like a severely misguided kid. It was like he was begging to be touched up. In a city like Chicago, SOMEONE would oblige.

I just came away as disappointed with their interview style as I always do.

he explained the stuff they asked him about, but they wanted to angle it as "we're concerned about your safety and career" which if they were, like the desus and mero thing, they could address outside the studio.

young nihilistic gang culture became synonymous with being hip-hop cool (as opposed to the usual gangsta coke shit) and now what would have been the Lil Bow Wow’s/Kris Kross of 2018 got face tats and set repping at 14, white kids too.

real life teen shooters existed since the 80’s but young rappers usually fashioned themselves after whats ‘cool’ and that tended to be very late teen/early 20 rappers. Now its like the blind youth leading the blind youth

Wayne talked about being s blood and a shooter but it was behind other subjects like getting cash, skateboards, and getting pussy. And while he was leaned out irl, even those references were just sprinkled in between the other nonsense.

These dudes is just death and drugs

And got the hell outta Chicago. No way he would move like this cat. I cant think of a rapper here that would go up to either GCI or Power92 and put that target on their own back. And people like Herbo & Bibby are really young street cats about THAT life. Its a bizarre choice for a street cat. It's morbid, but I did wonder how many partners he's lost in real life- not on wax.But how many times he has stood over one of his mans in a casket. How many funerals he's paid for. That's probably the difference.

That's why all this shit look cute to him.

In response to Reply # 0

His "test his gangsta US tour" is such a bad idea because it warrants legal consequences. Someone gets shot or assaulted as a result and goes to jail over this.

Shots got fired in Minnesota.
The incident at SXSW where 50 people were on stage waiting on him..
Gs out in LA looking for him to honor his request

He knows gangstas are everywhere so why is he trying to test them?

His career can literally end over this no matter his backer. Does he realize 20K a show is like hitting the lottery? What happens when the show money stops and WME leaves him? People miss one critical point when assessing gang culture: they're everywhere in places you don't see coming. Antagonizing people and insulting their families are not good ways to live life.

Please don't go to Chicago for the sake of his well-being. They do not play out there, allegedly.

His OGs need to step in and stop this foolery. Focus on music and tone down this image. Actually rap on beats instead of yelling and show growth.

I'm young old but this is a bad ending waiting to happen.

He keeps daring people to 'test his gangsta' because he knows that shit will keep him getting mentions on all the rap blogs and people are falling in line with his plan.

This clown is out here making snaps bragging about having 300k on his neck without security when he's not even around any street where he'd actually get robbed.

This dude is a fraud and a vulture who is looking for a quick come up.

by wme/img. in todays 'anything goes when it comes to fame' landscape...its not hard to imagine them throwing a bag around to other figures in hip hop to incite fake beef but never press him. so a bunch of white (and naive sheltered black) kids can go 'wow this guy really is a gangster'.

whenever you see these talentless acts just blow up out of nowhere...you will notice they are usually repped on the low by roc nation, caa, wme/img, etc.

when people think the grind has just started...the marketing plan has long been in effect.

bobby shmurda was the 1st time i really picked up on the new rules to the game.

She is most likely in a 360 deal. If Atlantic is making a percentage off touring it behooves them to make sure she has a touring agent. With TV already involved it is an easy sell.

As it relates to IG models. They are making money through advertising, appearances and possible TV deals. Why WOULDN'T you rep them? Youtube stars also have deals as well as reality stars.

Agencies get in early these days. There is no downside because they don't have to cut any checks.

I've been repped by ICM btw

Let's say you push product on a specific corner. Another cat rolls up trying to snatch your customers. That's bad for business, and it's going to be handled. A cat could come in from outta town trying to set up a lil shop in your area. If people are allowed to do this willy nilly, that could easily spell the end of your business. G's check in to let the hometown cats know they're in town, so they don't find out on their own and have to wonder if these dudes are up to funny business. This Tekashi guy is required to do this only because he claims to be a gangster. If he didn't project this image, he wouldn't have to check in.
I'm not saying this is right or wrong... just answering the question.
It would be smart of him to abide by the rules. Call street rules stupid and disregard them at your own peril.

This is all true, but has nothing to do with 69. They want him to check in so they can extort him. I mean, you really think they fear a NY dude setting up shop in LA? How?

That may very well be true. Kinda sounds like he shouldn't be claiming sets if he don't wanna follow the rules of the game tho.

>I mean, you really
>think they fear a NY dude setting up shop in LA? How?

If that sounds like a foreign concept, I'll plead the 5th on answering how. Just know it isn't welcomed and that kind of thing can be problematic from an infiltration standpoint.
