"Poll question: What should be Ryan Coogler's NEXT film?"
I know it was announced last year that he was doing a film about the Atlanta Teacher Test Scandal written by Coates and starring Michael B, but I don't know if it has been confirmed that film will officially be his next one. Assuming that isn't his next film, what should his next film be?

I immediately thought that these Star Wars movies deserved a director like Coogler....even if he was just a casual fan of Star Wars.
To me, Rebels surpassed my enjoyment of the new Episode Sequel movies. I truly care about the Rebels character crew more than I do Rey, Finn, and the rest of them

Let the man tell whatever stories he wants to make, putting it on hi shoulders to only tell black biopics or stories is odd and unfair to put on any artist. Let that man cook and do what he wants.
That being said I'd love to see his storytelling in star wars

NOBODY is telling dude what to do. This is just fodder. The post was crafted to elicit conversation. The man can direct whatever he wants. I'm just trying to spark conversation. Y'all acting like I'm going to take the results of this poll and send him a ten page deck outlining the next steps in his career path.

One more tentpole action film outside of an established franchise just to solidify his spot as a bankable mass market director. Then knock out some Oscar bait.
Ryan Coogler & Michael B. Jordan Will Reteam For Education Scandal Movie “Wrong Answer”

Ryan Coogler and his muse, Michael B. Jordan, aim to keep the hot streak going with Wrong Answer, a film about the 2006 standardized test scandal.
Making history is just what black people do, y’all.
Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan’s collective work together averages at least a 92-93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Their latest project, Marvel’s Black Panther, is now the fifth-highest-grossing movie at the box office and proved once-and-for-all that black people can lead a film and sell it out at the same damn time. With all this #blackexcellence going on with these two, it comes as no surprise as they will be reuniting on a new film: Wrong Answer.
Based on the 2006 standardized test cheating scandal at Atlanta public schools, Jordan will portray math teacher Damany Lewis, who joined the effort in order to prevent his school from shutting down under provisions of the “No Child Left Behind” law. That year, 11 teachers were indicted on racketeering allegations.
Coogler will direct the movie, plus produce it alongside Brad Pitt and his Plan B production company. New Regency will fully finance the movie. Ta-Nehisi Coates is also on board, as he will use Rachel Aviv’s 2014 New Yorker story of the same name to write his script. Aviv will serve as a consultant on the project with Damany Lewis, who also hails from The Bay Area in California.
Jordan will next been seen in HBO’s Fahrenheit 451 and the sequel to Creed, which will be directed this time by Steven Caple Jr..
No word as to when production will start, but this is certainly another project to put on your must-watch calendar.

I know that Ava Duvernay is doing a tv movie for "Dawn" but it would be cool to take a great black sci-fi writer's book and take it to a higher platform that no white director could take it to.
