I was watching this special of the first thanksgiving and so much fucked up stuff was going on. Dead bodies everywhere, Some propped up with guns to scare away Native Americans, Native American Slaughtering and heads put up on pikes. I was watching the special and thinking this would be good horror. Of course there is slavery, the conquering of the natives here and in the west indies. Straight stuff of horro.

They just defended it.
The end basically said they met with the parent and that the assignment was part of trying to get students to explain the reason for Texas' involvement in slavery. "Yeah, we understand you're concerned or whatever, but this assignment has purpose."
Nah that ain't good enough. Hopefully the assignment was discontinued. If not, this is just another example of how our level of organization being tested and us failing. This is one of the ways the establishment keeps seeing how weak we are as a people. When you won't stand up and demand better for your CHILDREN, you are defeated.
