"Dreams and Nightmares vs. God's Plan" Fri Feb-09-18 09:49 AM by Mori
I find it interesting that both songs are about existential overcoming. I really like the lyrics to both songs. I like that is a compilation of their journeys.

one guys started from the absolute fucking BOTTOM, battled his entire city, had all kinds of trials & tribulations...and the other is Drake, dude came into the game with a gold spoon in his mouth.
Meek isn't even supposed to be alive, let alone a star in hip-hop. Drake would not survive a week in Meek's life, shit Drake couldn't hang lyrically with Vodka, Hollowman, Chic Raw, Joey JiHad etc. Please please stop comparing this corporate machine azz rapper with Meek.
Not saying that Drake has not made some quality songs, but he's solely a POP-artist, not hip-hop/street music.

But Meek did do a good publicity stunt by challenging Drake. I'd never heard of him until then. But everything you wrote about Meek Mill makes the battle from years back all the more interesting.
Drake carved out a new lane. No matter what he came from, that deserves a lot of respect.
I would like to hear more about Meek Mill's life in a way that is compelling, clever powerful and with a great beat...like Dreams and Nightmares.
