dude is def dumb enough to publicly admit to obstruction of justice but he is prolly just be wrong here.
he said mccabe was fired because of the contents of the memo. but rosenstein is the one who signed off on the fisa warrant application in the memo. those applications come from the doj and not the fbi (where mccabe was deputy director.
mccabe most likely stepped down due to chris wray. either to relieve some political pressure or because of the pending inspector general investigation into the handling of the clinton email case during the election.
based on chris wrays behavior recently. theres no reason to believe he is a trump puppet. he even appointed a us attorney who trump fired to be the general counsel.
