doesnt guarantee that it will beat civil war obviously. but i think people were (and still are) underestimating the level of excitement for this movie.
it feels like a cultural event on top of a blockbuster opening.
a lot more eyes are gonna open to whats capable when black people show up and show out.
i just hope a black cast overperforms worldwide too.

I was hype as shit for Spawn.. it was trash.
I was hype for the last few comic book movies... trash
hype for the Last Jedi.. trash
I had no expectations for Deadpool and it was pretty good IMO.
Just seems like when I go in expecting to be wowed it doesn't work out. I just hope it's entertaining and isn't a bad movie.

Second Gaurdians was ehhh Didn’t watch the last Thor movie. No expectations though. Thought the user one was ok. I hate the villain tho. That helmet is ridiculous.
