ha! yeah right.

Parents...nothing much..I never know what to get and the past few years my stance has been I'll get you something if i'm inspired to..but if nothing inspires me, i'm not getting anything. I'm so over the whole consumerism aspect of the holiday.... They got a dog just before Thanksgiving. So I was inspired to buy them a fresh little leash hanging thingy for them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BEG0C4C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Wife....nothing. We stopped doing gift exchanges like that after our 1st daughter was born. Again, both of us were tired of the stress and pressure of the holiday to BUY something JUST because it's what you're supposed to do... I'm impossible to buy stuff for because... I'm a BOSS, and if I want something, I just go buy it.

Kids...toys and shit. K'nex, Moana toys, board game, clothes, random dinosaur coloring book, some kinda coding game (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A5YMCH4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), stuff like that.

>or we hating on this holiday too

I just hate how commercial and consumer focused it's gotten...you know, typical Charlie Brown stuff...

My department does a alcohol themed gift exchange. If you bring a bottle, you can take a bottle.

Rule in the house is kid gets 3 items and 3 items must go.

I got husband 1 gift, but it's pretty big.

I only enjoy giving my family gifts.

We're getting my Dad a tailored suit... He's the kinda guy you need to gift him something useful or it'll collect dust but a suit will def get use at church

We still exchange wishlist despite us all being adults. I'm happy that my brother's girlfriend is in the rotation now because she's a great woman so I'm looking forward to getting her a nice gift.

the holidays is whatever...

being the difficult person as others have coined me. In my opinion, wishlists takes the fun out of gift giving. I prefer the elements of surprise because it tells a person that you’re paying attention to them. again in my opinion...

Yesterday i received the most thoughtful gifts from coworkers

the mug I mentioned above
candles (love them)
I’m a Kate spade girl..someone gifted me the her planner, a scarf and mug
gift cards to hobby lobby..a fav
visa gift cards
even one to the dollar tree

I’m always asking folks for hot sauce so someone gifted me a giant size bottle. lol

Champange and bottle of good tequila. And even her daughter a gift. I was sure though that the gift came from my family and not me personally.

She has worked for me for years so I think it's appropiate.

that's when I tend to get over myself and do my Christmas shopping. my mood lightens up when I pick out gifts and wrap them. I was up late last night assembling my son's bike and wrapping gifts.

Bought the kids a couple toys each. They were pretty easy to shop for. Got all their shit from Target on sale, with a 20% off coupon, using a gift card that I bought on the 10% off gift card day. LOL.

Bought my wife's gifts at the very last minute. Like, this past Saturday.
two Nike workout outfits. But then I realized she didn't have an Nikes and I hate seeing people in nike gear with non-nike shoes. Or Adidas pants with nike shoes, LOL. So I bought her a pair of Nike workout shoes. Also got her two pair of pajamas bc she needs them shits badly. Lastly, I got her a few stocking stuffers - a coffee mug, some enamel pins for her denim jacket, perfume samples.

I always buy the best gifts in the house lol.

>and a MK bag. We know who he’s shopping for...

hilarious. I remember years ago, this young boy was in the LV store buying bags. Dude pulled out a knot of hundreds and bought two bags.

>why folks don’t be having PJs? lol

LOL, I think PJs have a one year shelf life. I have some that are about 5 years old and all ragged at the bottom. I asked my wife to buy me some. She needs new ones also.

No gift exchanging at work here this year.

My mom and I tend to exchange gifts sporadically, same with my dad... these days it's usually just pickles, preserves or baking... and usually from them. I work very hard at maintaining my image as the Bad Son. it is especially difficult since I am an only child. in fact if my mom hadn't more or less adopted my best friend as the Good Son I might just be SOL.

Shimmy wanted an Instant Pot and I already gave it to her a week or so ago.. I'll do up something else still. I gotta go out tonight and fight the masses to finish my shopping *groan*.

Kids... well I'm torn between sharpening sticks for their eyes(I mean what's better than a sharp stick in the eye?), cash, gift cards or something off of the lists they gave me.

as for you... well I just got all caught up on shameless so how about I don't let slip any spoilers.. Where you at in it?

No kids coming until after Christmas this year so we're going out for a fancy Christmas Eve dinner at a hotel where Shim's daughter works... as for Christmas day.. chilling being even lazier than usual.. and then i'm off all week next week so I'll probably end up going feral.
