- one on IG with a okp, his best friend and my wife - that's just jokes and small talk here and there
- one birthday celebration chat with my dad's side of the family, people whose numbers I dont have saved and people I may not have even met too many times. it's only active when someone has a birthday. I dont chime in unless I know the person. the only numbers I have saved from the group are my mom, dad, and one of his cousins. the rest is just random numbers texting "Happy Birthday!" with balloon and gift box emojis throughout the year
- my college crew and our extended affiliates. sports, women, old memories. it recently took a weird turn into some people proudly discussing felonies that got dropped to misdemeanors. I jokingly said "Im sorry, is this chat for clowning around or we thugging now?" without a hint of sarcasm one of the main perpetrators replied "Both", I stay muting these niggas for weeks at a time, when I check back it's just football and planning trips that I'll never attend

I'm not on it because everyone else has IPhones so my Pixel downgrades everybody else's experience.
I wasn't really worried about missing anything because I saw everybody in HQ daily so I was in the know... now I'm off-site, so I think I'll need a burner IPhone just to stay in touch.
I'm in one with the black belts of my martial arts school, and then another with multiple levels within the school. The former is mostly about logistics but sometimes we post martial arts related videos or topics. The latter is all logistics and pictures/videos from the school.
Then I'm in an IG group chat that goes all over the place from politics to tomfoolery and that same group (give or take a person or two) has a phone chat going where it's the same kind of discussion. We tend to do way more building and self discovery in that chat.
Oh and I'm in a group chat with the guys in my comic book club to talk about comics and video games. That's a cool one also.
