my point it is when you are brought up in a culture, a geographical displacement does not stop your affinity or curiosity for it.
i have cousins who were born and raised in Atlanta that are more "Nigerian" than me.

if the man wants to mix in a pan-African vibe to his music, he has more than earned it. he's not even close to over the top with it. just a little African seasoning.

you referred to him as dandy, and i was simply agreeing with you because dandy happens to be a "thing" that he has patterned his style after.
