"Is it ok to use the phrase "popping my cherry" in a business setting?"
We all know it's slang for breaking a girls hymen or losing virginity. But it's evolved to mean doing pretty much anything for the first time in everyday language.
In the past week I've heard two different dudes use that shit in a boardroom setting! On some ol' "Im popping my cherry on using this video chat software , so bear with me guys"
I'm looking at dude like is that what you really wanna be saying right now?!? In the age of Harvey Weinstein and a room full o women? Nah bruh...

LMAO.. Wtf do you do with that if you're the HR Rep handling the complaint

I was doing a shoot with this kid, who was half black/japanese and the mom tells her to open her eyes a little more ; "you're looking chink-eyed". i was like "WOW"
the way the mom said it was as if it had lost all racial meaning up until i reacted the way i did. I find that to be the case with a lot of cliches.

You know, those random college-age ponderings. Anyway, my girlfriend at the time (that's from the suburbs) one day said "this sucks" in response to something. Of course my mind went there, because she did too. Anyway, it got me thinking about the origin of the phrase, and my conclusion was:
"this sucks" == "something unpleasant" == "what a straight male might think about sucking dick"
"this sucks" == "something unpleasant" == "what a straight male might think about sucking dick"
