The victims being silenced/ignored has long been a huge piece of the problem. Hopefully the recent flood of allegations and women finally being heard will buck that disgusting trend.

I personally have never seen a bruised up women or kid outside of pop culture. The video felt graphic to me in a way that the interviews didn't. But I also didn't NEED the video to recognize the shitty situation.

I get that seeing the actual abuse>> hearing about it as far as the feelings it stirs up. Images are more powerful than words.
I guess the part that mostly bothers me is that this is an artist's depiction of general abuse(unless he stated that this depicted actual events).
A victim's actual statements or the video we have of BP hitting her should be more powerful than an artists video of abuse, imo.
I mean whatever reaches people, but her and her children's stories, coupled with the evidence at hand should be enough to say damn, this is f'd up.
