and it's prolly cause she didn't say her name in her verse.
these days, if you don't say your name in your verse the chances of folks knowing who you are is slim to none if you are a guest on a song.
I used to read the credits on rap albums but now that they are digital? meh

her and the dj (boss was a group) stopped getting along, along with other industry politics. but her album wasn't a reflection of her private school upbringing and I remember folks finding out and having issues with that.
she also has health issues. not sure when that affected the career tho.

Wasn't like she was keeping her upbringing a secret. Hell, there was a skit on the album with her mother(?!?) scolding her via phone message for acting gangsta when she took ballet classes.
