Not me (and still haven't seen the televised version, only bits and pieces). The wife doesn't do scary movies. Plus I don't need no clowns to psych me out like the first Freddy did. Good luck with the scares if you are going, sounds like a fun movie regarding being with a full audience to be scared with. That's really not the problem though is it? Its the aftermath of mind playing tricks on ya homey. Yall who have basements and stairs..ha. You know you be runnin after u click the lights.
Which is the issue..if you run, that's when you feel a hand on the shoulder..you have to walk smooth like alls well in the world. But you don't hear me though.
The TV movie was some shit. You ever tried to watch it recently? Its awful and it didn't even do the book justice, and the book is bloated as fuck and wouldn't translate well to film, and I love King.
If you're not seeing this based on it not holding up well to that tv mini series back in the day you're out of your mind.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

I was a BIG fan of the OG television miniseries. I even started re-watching it again last night to get in the mood. I thought I owned the DVD but I can't find it now so I had to buy it on Amazon streaming. I love scary movies but I think this is going to be more than that. I'm trying to not get my hopes too high and just enjoy the film for what it is though.
