if there is an intersection of culture with gamergate, 4chan, reddit, Trump and Anonymous
then I think a similar intersection is happening here
I can't name the players yet but I think its something like
instagram, trap, and a few other things
I'm reminded of the way rapper swag crossed over and became something new with rich kids in Dubai
Or, taken another direction, like what if Rachel Dolezal as goofy as her whole saga is, was kind of like a flare in the sky to signify the start of something new
But, as I think about it some more its a weird one way street and Atlanta season 1 covered it with the 17 year old black kid who thought he was a 35 year old white man.
Which I guess if I were to go further is the idea that black culture is open to appropriation - it in itself is not open but the idea that anyone can take the look and feel but its never done out of authenticity when placed on the main stage of maisntream culture
