I think that the edited version would have gone over MUCH better than this one, but I also know that the message is necessary. There are better ways than a group dance to "The Story of OJ" to create a buzz and introduce this topic.
Whoever approved this performance should have to answer to someone for it. The creativity and positive intention is there but the creator needs a mentor or someone that could have refined this concept and make it more acceptable.

I think it's a good song. It's just a case of something old being said by someone new/popular.
Yeah, it's getting way too much credit for being a "woke" song when there are already tons of them out there, but because it's Jay Z and his album releases are events now, it's overhyped.
