I mean all it is essentially is sparkling wine, no?
I just never really ever heard of someone poppin' champagne bottles on the reg like that or like ordering a glass at a bar after work or something, I dunno.

I was all confused like 'Is it someone's birthday'.
I ain't that mad cause there really isn't a price difference between a good (or cheap for that matter, Andre stand up) bottle of champagne /sparkling wine.
A couple of years ago I got some on the cheap and that was my pre-game ritual for a few weeks, lol.

some "corner stores" down there even had champagne glasses of various flavors and types with the foil lid on them joints

I got a bottle of Crystal for Christmas like 5 years ago.. still haven't opened it.

It's weak like wine, plus that horrible fizz. Gotta drink like half the bottle (and who wants to drink all that?) to feel anything, and I'm not even a big drinker.
Glass of straight, no-chase rum or whisky (or whatever) is much more efficient. Champagne seems like something for folks that have bedazzled cell phone cases, lol.
