"do you use the snooze button?"

I tend to wake up before my alarm so don't need the snooze.

besides that, I think its not a good idea. seems like it would make more sense to just set the alarm so that you get the most sleep rather than waking up before you need to, hitting a button, not really going back to sleep over and over.

i used to use it a whole lot. had the alarm timed where 3 snoozes and then i need to get up.

now i either wake up on my own or get woken up by kids/wife.

i still do it but I think I wake up more tired if I hit the snooze.

Um that's not exactly the reasoning of the use of snooze

I can only sleep in if I'm hungover. Otherwise I wake up a few minutes before my alarm or with my alarm. But I'm afraid that if I snooze I will just sleep through that and wake up 2hrs later.

I snooze until 5:45- 6 lol
get up, have my coffee, make my breakfast, watch the news and pack my lunch
then I shower and get dress

I can't just roll out of bed
there's has to be a process for everything lol

for the morning, but if I sleep til the alarm, I'm up as soon as I hear it.

this allows me time for all of my morning activities, including getting the kids ready for school.

hitting snooze doesn't always mean a few more minutes of sleep. Most days, I'll lay there and plan my day, think about what I'll wear.....pray. Then I get up and start my morning.

Even work...I can't roll right in and start working. I need a moment to transition my brain to work mode.

I get that it makes you more tired, but it also helps me appreciate sleep.

That 6 hours? I don't remember it.

That 7 minutes though? Oh yeah, that's that shit.

we're the opposite. my wife would snooze forever if she could, but I bounce right up when that music starts playing.

so i kinda have to use it

but i typically can sleep through alarms and snoozes if im not careful (get under 6 hours of sleep more than once a week)

but waking up is sometimes a gradual process for me where the snoozes force me to to gradually be ok not sleeping for longer lol

i really need to not do it though...i just need to take my ass to sleep...i feel like i won't be solid with it until kids come into the picture lol

i will be woken by the alarm, solve 3 relatively challenging math problems (like 8 * 14 - 37) in my head, and i will still manage to snooze or de facto snooze by changing the alarm for 10 minutes later. i know i should just get up because that extra 10-30 minutes of "sleep" doesn't really matter but i go through the motions of solving math problems and re-setting the alarm anway. it's one of my worst habits
