in a few months i'm moving to reno from the humidity capital of the US, the mid-south. i'm very much looking forward to a drier and more temperate climate

Don't get me wrong, it's hot as hell in summer. High nineties and triple digits from the end of May through the beginning of September. It's just a really dry heat.

yeah but it drops to like 60 at night. here in little rock it's 95+ during the day and 80 at night with 90% humidity. AC is running 24/7 for ~40% of the year. i'm not expecting norcal weather in reno. just closer to comfortable
Went hiking on the 4th with my heavy pack. Was expecting it to be in high 80's for last 90 minutes - ended up being in the 90s for last 2 hours of it. Lost 6 pounds of water weight.
Heading out tomorrow for another hike - but this time I'm starting at 7am and hope to recover enough to go see Spiderman at 4pm.
