that's what I was saying about taking a limb off. A .50 cal round can be damn near 800 grain. That' damn near 2 ounces...LOL. Not the whole round like in the pic, either. JUST the projectile. So you got a 1.75 ounce, half inch in diameter bullet being fired with close to 15,000 ft. pounds of energy...that's how they can travel for 10 seconds and still ruin a human body when they arrive.

he was a medic and would also man the .50 cal on humvee's when they patrolled. He said if you missed your target but got close enough that was enough to wound them. Told me about hitting a guy with a round in the stomach and seeing his body ripped in half. Or like you said hit a guy in the arm and his whole arm was gone from the chest.
