The whole subject would have switched to "look at this abusive patriarchal man abusing his girlfriend!" He'd have been on video gripping-up a chick. Shit could've been taken all out of context in the future.

If homeboy was smart he'd already have given her her walking papers, and is using this bit of notoriety to get something new.
