i'm loathe to call anything these days classic because of how loosely that term gets tossed about, but his ability to storytell, his ability to switch moods w/out fucking up the program, the way it was shot, his energy, the actual jokes, how relevant he and his stories are to where were are a society right now, etc.

anyhow, yeah, i'm showing this to anyone who'll watch. i already watched it twice myself.

The onstage camera that he looks directly into during the "serious" moments was pretty effective. I've never seen that in standup before.

I cant relate to Indian culture jokes. someone on Twitter said it felt like a TED talk with his delivery and how he walked around the stage

I just didnt like the jokes, ive heard them before. Or his delivery. Or the Power Point presentation. I'll give it another try later on.

Right now ive been rewatching The Machine and Shrimpin Ain't Easy. I don't relate toe these but that doesnt make something NOT funny LOL I really hate that argument when people watch stand up, tv, movies, music etc. Such a lazy statement.

me of that, similar storytelling vibes and heartfelt shit. Overall though dude is dope. I'll also never understand people who say they can't relate to other people's stories if they are different from their own. Comedians give the best insights to these differences.

I didn't know he was funny since the only other times I've seen him was on Chelsea Handler's old show and she used to clown the heck out of dude for being corny. he never made me laugh on there. definitely was a surprise that his show kept me laughing from start to finish

I didn't like the Ted Talk feel of it. But I got used to it, after I realized it wasn't actually a stand up but more of a performance like Whoopi or a one man show type of deal.

I didn't feel the emotion a lot of jokes aimed for was authentic. It felt like he was acting poorly.

loved it. It was a glimpse into a culture different from mine. The jokes and the storytelling connected. Didn't mind the TED talk feel. As a matter of fact, I hardly noticed because I was more in tune to what he was saying and where he was going with the story.

I thought it was one of the better stand up joints on Netflix. Watched it on a whim and laughed out loud many times.
