"Bay Area: visiting soon, seeking travel tips"

I'll be in the SF Bay Area (Oakland mostly during the day) for work for a few days.

I haven't been out there since the early 90s, so I'm seeking advice on:

- Where to eat

- Cool places to visit

- Where to go if you don't have a California ID

Not as bad as LA, but that's about it.

Due to expansion/the housing crisis, traffic around the Bay has been getting progressively worse for at least 25 years. Especially from the East Bay to SF. You don't want to drive the Bay Bridge, sir.

if he's going to downtown SF, then might as well BART it in from west oakland.

supposed to be in the 70's, so the bridge is gonna be full, traffic hell, and parking shitty.

If you're coming next week,'the weather is supposed to be pretty damn nice, so a walk around it would probably cool.

Also, not sure if you're trying to do the whole museum thing, but the Oakland Museum is right by there and is pretty good.

I'll give more recs later.

hit up Amoeba, or if you're in SF, hit up that Amoeba. i would also highly recommend Patxi's pizza if you're close to one at any point.
