wife doesn't work and they have 4 kids. Them dependent credits be kickin IN, fam! Plus I think he lets them take out hella during the year. I stopped that. I'd rather owe a teeny bit and hold my money in my paychecks.

I used to look forward to income tax time like shit. Then, some years back, my old boss was just shooting the breeze with me and he was saying income tax time wasn't really a big deal for him. I was like, I bet you get back a ton. He said naw...I usually owe. Then he went on to basically say...why let them use your money all through they year and return it to you with no interest? When you owe them, if you don't pay them fast enough, they'll charge you interest. Hold onto your money during they year and put it in something that will gain interest...or put it under your damn mattress...but don't loan it to them and wait for them to give it back.

say Lady Gaga tickets are $100, you buy 20 and you've still only spent 2K

Stubhub takes 10% of your sales, but it's definitely a worthy hustle if your profit margins are right

it's easier to learn than the stock market but it takes legwork all the same to figure out which shows will be in demand in which markets and how much you can charge people

I attempted this at the Super Bowl ... $1000 tickets were selling for $15000. I just couldn't pull the trigger because I didn't know if the ticket would sell.

I used to flip tix...most of the ones that sold on Stubhub wound up being for a loss....just to get rid of it.

I did my profit from word of mouth and craigslist.

In the end it wasn't worth the time, headache or stress to maybe profit a few bucks. Usually, I'd make a few hundred dollars on one sucker and break even on all the rest of the tickets. smh.

Then I just started quoted prices from stubhub and marking it up 10% and selling that to folks or using all the discount codes i'd accumulated.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.
