at the office we keep ours and return them to our dry cleaner (we have a dry cleaner service here).

when I was in college, there was a campaign for safe abortions that had, as its logo, a wire hanger with the universal "no" symbol (circle with a line through it). I saw that, and my mind immediately went to NO WIRE HANGERS and I put one on my dorm room door for a long time, because I liked both messages.

So, I either toss the wire hangers or recycle them - return to cleaners or drop in the city recycle bin.

We use them until they get beat up then just take them back to the dry cleaners.

Might was well keep them and use them though. You paid for them.

But the wire ones always seem to stick around and get used eventually. If they ever build up and are just taking up space, some of them likely just get thrown away.

or do they just throw them away behind the cleaners. Because if so...

they do that...then re-use them. I hate wire hangers, so as soon as I take whatever I had cleaned off the lil janky hanger, I put it in a pile to go back to them.
