we're 12 years deep at this point, vday is very insignificant for both of us, thankfully. TheWife does not trip at all over it. i'll probably grab a card and a few flowers or something, but we've got better shit to spend our money on.

Im not against it but if you really doing your job you don't have to go all out on this holiday.
I feel for those who break up because their SO didn't remember or get them enough shit.

I'm not big on holidays, but what I've learned is that some people are attached to society and arbitrary metrics, and it's easier to work knowing that than it is against that.
