sure, after say 3 or 5 years no one will remember you and you will have that money.

BUT

in that 3 to 5 year time your soul will undergo a ton of pain. you will not be able to even go on to the internet because your entire existence will be emblematic and reduced to a giant meme.

sure, you will have money, but you will be traumatized on several levels and that trauma could lead to you burning through that money to cover your pain.

I say all that to say that, these people might not care how they are looked upon now, but being viewed as a sellout or a traitor is a permanent part of their legacy and that something i wouldnt want my daughter to be subjected to after im gone. There's no amount of money that would allow me to consciously even consider being a sellout.

There's a chance someone could agree to all terms and the show could not air due to backlash prior to the reveal. This means a participant gets their debt paid down, gets 5 or 20 mill AND avoids persecution as a result of appearing on the show. The post doesn't mention anything about the show airing on a network..

I'd be willing to negotiate a deal where I work behind the scenes in another role at the network itself instead of appearing on this show. I couldn't do it at all.
