and or vice versa.

I was thinking

US 'purified/bottled' water to be distributed in Africa then re-invest the proceeds. could have folks run the water through filters here, bottle it up, and ship it to the islands or continent, profit ???

nah but

seeing pix on MLK day of him and nkrumah, malcolm visiting african heads of state, etc, made me think how far we moved away from that pan-african relationship

at least on top-down, policies and cooperation level.

at the same time, the 1st morning i woke up in nigeria, the 1st things i heard outside were 1)a rooster 2)snoop dogg 'drop it like its hot'

ie on a ground level, the internet, music, culture, etc has the potential of bridging gaps and bringing the common ppl closer than martin and malcolm could.

Anyway, on a high level
-Black ppl got mismanaged wealth and discretionary income
-Africa got mismanaged land & resources

somebody gotta plan the summit tho

Jeffery Wright started a mining company in Sierra Leone-

Raw materials that Africa basically gives away to get processed overseas -chocolate, cashews, etc- big opportunity for Blks and expat Africans to bring capital back to Africa for development and better deals

Investment in infrastructure (treatment plants, distribution pipes, etc.) would probably help a lot more, and probably has a much smaller "carbon footprint."
