You start talking about how all the other Spider-Man movies have him finding his own way except the most recent one you even acknowledge, betraying your own point. It’s actually ok if they frame Miles’ big screen debut with a multi universe story so general audiences can get it.
Then you say Peter is his real father figure based on nothing but cynicism, never mind the Peter teaching him looks homeless and can’t pay for his own meal; he’s white so you see him in a good light regardless of what he does. Can’t even be happy that his father is there and loving in the trailer, he embarrasses him like fathers do so this will lead to black boys killing themselves! Seriously?
You’ve internalized and are addicted to applying negativity to anything a black person just being might do, even fictional characters. And you hiding that negativity behind some “vigilant wokeness” that us other dumb or otherwise inadequate and lesser blacks don’t see.
Man, you know you need to stop.
Peter Parker never met Peter Parker in a movie before because that not really interesting as Peter meeting another Spider-Man. This is simple storytelling shit but there are black folks involved, so of course there will be negativity applied to whatever they may do. I swear, black people can’t do shit
Miles Morales never been a genius superhero, either. Sorry Ryan Coogler didn’t make Black Panther super genius enough for you and gave that trait to a young black girl character but fuck them right?
>"Aww, the original Spider-Man is taking the little >spidernigger under his web. So sweet and adorable." >I loved the idea of the Black Spider-Man, but they just could >not give him his own standalone journey. On top of that, he's >not even special b/c there are 3 "spider people" in the >trailer alone lol. I've seen a few Spider-Man movies, and >every single one of them features Spider-Man finding his own >way... never been an older spiderguy show up to help him >(IronMan helps the newer one by building him a suit). It just >so happens to be the case for the Black one tho... little >nigger just can't figure it out for himself lol. I mean, >there have been many depictions of young Spider-Men, but why >has there never been an older one show up? This is driving >home the fact that this is THE BLACK one and is blatantly >about race and appealing to racists imo. He can't just be >"Spider-Man" and this was kind of a clever way to make that >clear. We'll eat up anything with a Black lead tho. > >Plus they've gotta get the racists to come out, b/c why would >they show up if there's no white man leading the way? Dude >has a Black father (who's a cop... surprise!) Awesome, yet his >real father figure (the one seen teaching him lessons) is the >white dude while his biological dad is a goofball who's only >good for embarrassing him (granted this is just the trailer, >but this is what they chose to show, so hey). Not to mention >he's the least experienced "spider person" in the film behind >the two white male and female we meet lol. The inexperience >is just part of his story and would be fine with me if he was >finding his own way like every other white Spider-Man I've >ever seen. > >I know, I know... yall gon say I hate everything. I really >don't tho. I'm just not impressed by this. I won't be >surprised if he's not a genius in the movie either. I mean >they totally took that aspect from Black Panther's big screen >depiction. Seems like there shall be no heterosexual Black >male genius as a good guy in these films. If I'm wrong, show >me one. Even w/ DC, Cyborg is just a head... reminds me of >the castrated Black dude on GoT. And PS for yall who say "but >it's white folks stuff tho"... cool, then why are you excited >for a disrespectful (or at the very least, unequal) depiction >of yourself from white folks? Said differently, why are you >excited for a depiction of yourself catered to racists? > >Why you gotta analyze everything so closely Boogie? >Well, this is what we're feeding our children, and then wonder >why they grow up valuing whiteness over themselves, being >depressed, suicide rates rising like mad among Black boys, etc >etc etc. > >Fuck it I'm on one. > >
