No employees in my area got the flu - and we're all required to get vaccinated. Very few people abstain and then they must wear mask in patient areas AND if they show any signs of being sick we all put peer pressure on them to stay at home and recover.
We did have a strain of the common cold that took about 1/2 the team out for a week.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

from ALL strains of the flu that *might* develop. the scientists who develop the vaccine look for the strain they think will do the most damage and make the vaccine based on that...but its' like 100s of flu strains so yeah, you might still get the flu.
I just got the flu shot this past week because my job kept stressing me. i never get the flu (even when i didn't get the shot) so idk if it works or not.

There were about 6 people who got it the week of Christmas out of 40 or so. This was my first time getting it after consistently getting the shot for at least the last 10 years.
I take public transpo so I was probably exposed, and I haven't been sick so far.
A FUCKTON of people got a head cold with a bad cough and came into the office coughing and snorting all over everything and so far I don't have that either.
