just for them costco trips. But yeah buy the meat in bulk and as soon as you get home break them up into single meal size and put them in freezer bags. Usually takes an extra 15-30 minutes to do this after everything is put away. But better than having to thaw a pack of 15 pork chops and have to worry about cooking/eating them all before they go bad.

chest freezers are like a box. you open the top and put stuff into a cold ass box.

the upright jounts are like designed more like a refridgerator where you got shelves. to me it gives you easier access to your stuff.

I have a smaller chest-style joint in my garage...but we also have the fridge with two doors that open out where one side is the fridge and the other side is a freezer.

if you are stacking tv dinners or frozen shit in a box fine. But when you start throwing irregular shaped items you start losing space and it gets to be a cluster.

1. costco
2. BJs
3. Sams

costco feels better. bjs is good. Sams is walmart, which is a turn off for me.

i used to belong to sam's club until i went to a costco.

i just thought costco got better products and had better service.

we don't have bj's here.

also, costco started in the city i grew up in so i feel some kind of stupid local kinship. it's dumb, i know.

I don't have a super well thought out answer.

The have better stuff and are not owned by the Waltons.
That's enough most days.

BJs is sneaky good tho. They got rid of alot of them around metro Atlanta, but they have a real deli section. That's pretty damn cool. Their selections are on par with Sams for most things.

But Costco is the greatest.

I've always been treated like a human being or better at Costco
as opposed to the cattle herd mentality at walmart/sam's
only been in a BJ's twice so can't call it
