Well worth watching for his performance alone...does great work in a gangster role that could have been stereotypical but he played it quirky and weird as fuck...one of my fav tv performances of the year

I'm always pleasantly surprised he's still working because I didn't think he had much of a future after watching him on "Strapped" WAAY back in the day. But he's been consistently doing a couple gigs a year since the early 90's and that's pretty impressive for never really hitting it big.

aka, not an origin story.

Although I am concerned that there are three villains listed. Too many villains has been the downfall of many a super hero flick.

I could be wrong but solely marvel flicks seem to focus on just one major villain

Looks an awful lot like it was cast to be him
http://comicvine.gamespot.com/ganke/4005-80351/images/

If so it sucks that they put him in as Peters friend but couldn't do a movie with Miles Morales as Spider-Man.

Still looks like it could be good so I'll def check it out. Marvel won't fuck it up as bad as Sony has that's for sure.

He's Ned Leeds but clearly they changed him to basically be Ganke Lee

Ganke is awesome as Spider-Man's best friend, obviously. But why they needed to jack Miles Morales' Best friend and give him to Peter Parker? I don't know, it's pretty lame.
