That's what the DNC does.
The House Democratic leader does stuff like fights for the Democratic Agenda in the Republican lead house and helps apportion committee seats.
Democrats also have MILLIONS of more votes cast for them for president AND for Senators.
And the democrats gained 8 seats in the house this election.
The only thing the DNC is losing is how the states are gerrymandered and how getting the most votes does not mean they win the eelciton.
But the will of the poeple is not shifting far rightward - but this election results (Trump getting 26% of the vote to Clinton's 48%) will dramatic shift this countries policies far to the right.

They should be cleaning house and getting new faces.
Pelosi should have fallen back.
But the first step is admitting where they themselves failed.
