Kanye West was reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles on Monday, according to TMZ.
According to the website, the 39-year-old rapper is currently at UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. Sources told TMZ, police responded to a medical welfare call on West around 1:20 p.m. PT. According to NBC News, the decision to check on the rapper was purely for his own safety and there was no criminal activity involved.
