"Ayo check out Marvel's Doctor Strange when it drops 11/04"
Shit is dope AF.
I'd say see it twice. Once sober and once on some good ass kush. The visuals are crazy in this piece, so for my 2nd press screening I'm definitely gonna have kush on hand.
The 3D at times was bugged out cause the shit was so psychedelic and really the only movie worth checking for in 3D this year beside Jungle Book and Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (which was shot in 120 frames per second 3D). Also, over an hour (roughly 70 minutes) was formatted for IMAX so if can spare the dough mos def cop a IMAX 3D ticket.

I've been reading Doctor Strange comics off and on since the 70's. My grandmother got me into them 'cause she read 'em religiously along with every horror comic she could get her hands on (esp Charlton comics horror titles). If Marvel fucks up Strange, especially with his role in the whole Infinity Gauntlet storyline, I doubt I would forgive them.
Having The Ancient One cast as a baldheaded woman was a step in the wrong direction as far as I'm concerned... But I'm willing to give it a shot considering we had a Black Norse God with Heimdall and it didn't turn out bad but at the same time I'm still bitter over the X Men lineup not following the comics.

The tripiness of the comics it got right. My brother just a 15 minute preview and is through the roof. I told him wait until he sees the whole thing...
I logged onto facebook and a homie just posted a video imploring people to go see it. Said the same thing as you regarding psychedelic visuals and saying if you don't see it in imax, you're fucking up.

5 minutes later I look up and the commercial comes on tv.
I guess I hafta see this now.

... passed already. Mako would have been absolutely awesome as The Ancient One. Cary Tagawa would be good too as long as he removed all traces of Shang Tsung from his soul. Lotta good actors to choose from for this role.
