First of all,imagine a smaller american city that used to have some type of industry but fell on hard times.

In my mind i'm thinking like Pittsburgh, but they going through a renaissance.

N'ton was shitty in the 80's and looks the same now. Just gloomy, uneducated, unwashed masses.


Racially i just remember being treated like an alien....not open hostility (only once that i remember), not invisibility either though...like, people were aware of you but made no secret of the fact they didnt fuck with you, without ever telling you.

So i went back for the first time in decades, and i literally felt like i had come from the future to get there.

Maybe i've traveled the world and they still dong the same basic shit...im not stunting, i actually feel grateful thst my parents thought enough of me to say 'we gotta get this mofo outta here'
