"Hey OKP fam, check out my new book. "

So I wrote another book. This novella is the first book of science-fiction series I've started.

You might dig it.

Maybe you can check it out. And if you do, tell me what you think. Good or bad. I'd especially appreciate a review.

It's available on Amazon and also on Kindle Unlimited.

Here's the summary:

For fans of The Walking Dead and 28 Days Later, Scattered Screams is a diverse take on post-apocalyptic tales...

The cross-country college visit to Stanford University was supposed to be a bonding moment between Marcus and son, Ali.

They would have never imagined the sunny summer afternoon would turn into the fight for their lives.

Now the world is split into two parts: before and after the Disruption.

The new world is akin to a war zone. But a war zone with no clear sides. Allies and foes might be one in the same as everyone attempts to survive.

Marcus’s only goal is to return home to New York City with Ali and Victor, Ali’s friend. And with that task in hand they attempt to traverse a United States that is covered with mutants, enemies and obstacles.

Lines of communication are cut off. They might not have a home to return to.

In a world surrounded by danger and violence, the only constant are the Scattered Screams.

Sounds up my street.

Also interested to hear how you've found the experience of self-publishing online. Finding it rewarding/successful?

I've found self-publishing to be extremely rewarding. It's total freedom to do what you want and experiment. There are some challenges, such as marketing, gaining visibility and traction. But that's about it.
