"Does Cruz endorsing Trump chang anything? "

or nah?

http://thefederalist.com/2016/09/23/the-real-reasons-ted-cruz-just-endorsed-donald-trump/

What’s really going on here, of course, is that Cruz made a decision to short Donald Trump’s chances in Cleveland. Cruz made a stand on conservative ideology, but couldn’t bring himself to endorse a man who had called his wife ugly and implied that his dad shot JFK. In the time since then, the Trump campaign had – despite Trump’s public comments – put a great deal of pressure on Cruz to endorse and get behind him (I assume one of their chief arguments being that he is the only candidate who can defend the country against the continued threat of skilled assassin Rafael Cruz, who still roams the earth unrestricted).

But the fact is Donald Trump is fundamentally no different than he was in Cleveland as an actual candidate. Sure, he’s modified a few policies and moderated his tone – but all the misgivings Cruz had about Trump as a potential president and Commander in Chief are still in place. What has changed? Two things: Hillary Clinton’s strength as a candidate has degraded significantly, and Cruz’s political standing was damaged far more among his Texas base and among the donor community than he anticipated by the “vote your conscience” stand.

Wow, look at this guy bending the knee and falling in line.

he's got presidential aspirations so he did what he had to. couldn't see myself doing that after all that went down.

really considering moving my family out of the country (not canada). even if Spray Tan only gets one term, this election has really pulled the curtain back on a lot of things I fundamentally disagree with. struggling to figure out if wisdom comes with age, or was I just being naieve all those years

Trumps also hiring Cruz's people and Pence put a call in to Cruz

If Cruz is really losing donors and voter support it tells me the GOP is falling in line to vote for Trump or against Hillary

Cruz made a bet and lost. He wanted to stake his claim at the head of the "I told you so" train. He wanted to be in good position for when folks finally had to "come on home"

Now that Trump looks to have a reasonable chance, he's got to get with it or get lost. He's getting with it.

He can pretend it was because Trump wasn't a real conservative, or because he shit on his wife and dad, and sure those are factors but mostly Cruz threw his cards on what he figured was the inevitability of Trump getting his ass handed to him, and come out looking like the man who stood his ground.

Now that it's a dead heat he jumps on the Trump train. Like a true pussy.

At this point Trump needs every President in history to endorse him along with Minister Farrakhan.

At that point I'd still want substantial policy and the same ancillary benefits aka good governing that all constituencies get. The racists get increased racial profiling under Trump. The homophobes get a ban of gay marriage under Trump. MRA get a permanently crippled Affirmative Action and Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act to hurt gender equality in the work force. NRA gets federally sanctioned open carry everywhere. The Xenophobes get a wall for immigration funded by big government.

The man who was the GOP #1 contender last go round went on national TV telling ppl to NOT vote for the current #1 GOP candidate.

The other top GOP brass formed a coalition with the #2-#4 candidates to devise a plan for them to band together and knock the #1 GOP not dem, but GOP candidate out the race

Even when he won they were trying to change the rules before the convention to NOT let him get the nod.

Still have GOP members openly saying NOT TRUMP!

U can disagree with someone without resorting to bullshit retorts.......

I'm talking about his Presidential aspirations not a bunch of rubes in Texas voting for Cruz.....

Bottom line: Cruz' true believer, hardcore supporters now believe him to be a sellout...

Cruz's brand was always about being ANTI POLITICAL. He painted himself as being above all the double dealing....The Anti-Washington DC flip flopper...A man who spoke truth to power, even if u thought he was a loon...

Folks now see him as no different than the other BOUGHT AND PAID FOR politicians he made a career out of demonizing...

His base sees a man who caved in to one of the worse Presidential candidates of all time (Trump); a man who is not even a true Conservative (one of Cruz' main talking points...), who disrespected his wife and father...This is on top of the unhinged GOP base who already branded Cruz as a traitor for not backing Trump in the first place....

Cruz has lost all credibility....Of course he will run for the Senate again...But Cruz' brand is on some bullshit right now....He has to do some serious rehabbing....

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

>Bottom line: Cruz' true believer, hardcore supporters now
>believe him to be a sellout...

You don't even know what you're talking about.
I live not far from Ted and his offices.
Nobody in Texas that votes for Ted gives a damn.
Next go round they STILL voting for him
Ted is the best of the bunch they have to choose from that will represent them.
The vast majority of Texans that voted for him also vote for Texas to secede from the union.
Buncha 'nex.

>Cruz's brand was always about being ANTI POLITICAL.

He still has that cache.
He will explain it away.
His supporters already are eating it up and he ain't even said nothing yet.
They are already blaming Hillary for tea's demise.

>His base sees a man who caved in to one of the worse
>Presidential candidates of all time

You are making shit up now.
Have you polled his base?
Where you getting this market research from?
You realize bowhunting season in Texas starts this saturday, right?
So me and all the Cruz supporters are on hunting websites HEAVY!!!!! all geeked like Lil kids on Christmas eve talking about what broadhead we going with first and even if we will make it to the stand
If we use ozonics or not
In between that, we discuss the debate and how the saints got destroyed.

Again, you don't what you be talking about.
You not in the trenches, litterally.

>Cruz has lost all credibility....Of course he will run for the
>Senate again...But Cruz' brand is on some bullshit right

Cruz will win senate 70-30
You using them old ass political views.
Same ones that allowed trump to be at the podium in october.
Keep on doing what you doing and he will be at the podium in January too!

I'm talking about his Presidential aspirations...Not the racist, craven, hard Right loons, idiots, hate mongers and Texas money peeps who will support his state aspirations...

His brand, in terms of NATIONAL power, is damaged....The Right Wing will vote for a shoe in local/state elections....

I'm not talking about any of the shit u typed out, homie....

Now he's back to only appealing to the am radio crowd, and being despised by just about everyone who actually knows him.

It is 47-47 now
There is about another 6 points up for grabs
Just as in any other election
Remember Romney's 47% gaffe?
Same thing here.
Both sides are fighting over the last six points.

These two are so different if you're confused about who to vote for now, you're an idiot.

So, if they stay home that's not voting for trump.
So really the decision is do I stay home or vote for Trump (because I hate that lying about Benghazi skankwhore )

That's how they really feel.
