“Saturday Night Live” announced that Mexican-American comedian Melissa Villaseñor was hired as the show’s first Latina cast member ever on Sept. 12. The announcement was a seminal moment for representation of Latinos in comedy, but it was completely undercut on Sept. 17, when Grist justice writer Aura Bogado tweeted about Villaseñor suspiciously deleting over 2,000 tweets in less than a week.
Further digging online by Bogado, activist and writer April Reign and others revealed that Villaseñor deleted several old racist tweets, the majority of which target black people and Asians.
In one of the tweets, Villaseñor wrote about being afraid to date black men. In another, she mentions an “ugly,” “bossy black lady” at her job.

What is the issue with saying "Jolly black people are the best" or "a bossy black lady looks like Urkel"? Or "my roommates dog looks like an old Japanese man"
If through all of their digging this is as 'bad' as they found, then this is possible the least racist person around
I'm just assuming that they would feature the worst of the worst tweets here. And I would struggle to call these even mildly offensive. The rest of the tweets got to be puppies and kittens and shit.

more than actually being racist. That's a tough line toe, especially when the race involved isn't your own. Considering how unfunny these jokes are it's insensitive at the very least that she didn't know when to shut the fuck up, but I'm gonna say not guilty on actual racism
