been teachin hard (via my high school visual and media art classes) on the militant civil rights movements, artist-activists like emory douglas of the panthers (who i eventually painted alongside in mexico for a zapatista mural solidarity project), peace work via the amazing homies unidos org, did some other social/political art projects abroad, supporting yoga and capoeria partnerships for my high school youts (and me), and generally trying to have fun while in it. tryin to model that (intentional) work hard, play hard for hundreds of youts and like-minded peoples every year.
edit - check out these two dope orgs to stay healthy in the movement: the people's yoga in boyle heights, and omulu capoeria. both are really dope spaces with people well familiar with how constantly advocating/doing movement work can be tough on one's health.
