I've never been in the habit of putting anything that can't be read by anyone in email.
You know part of me is like, Government officials should have the ability to speak off the record when they need to, but instead of getting into a transparency argument, I figured they just need to do like me and not put it in an email.

i'm generally against this practice of leaking private communications of politicians and any institution public or private. ppl are entitled to their private thoughts and to express themselves freely in communication w/peers and coworkers. they should be able to do so w/o fear that the communication will be exposed to the public or that they will be made to account for the content of communication they reasonably expected to remain private.
fuck this shit.
and yes, i thought the same about the Sony email leaks and the DNC email leaks. it's all bullshit. ditto for the various document dumps Wikileaks is on. fuck all that shit.
